The GLOCK V Series is Coming
Yesterday GLOCK sent out an email correcting a statement made by a retailer not affiliated with GLOCK, Inc. The retailer, it seems, let the cat out of the bag, so to speak, about a new line of GLOCK pistols dubbed the V Series. According to GLOCK:
"The GLOCK V Series is here to establish a baseline of products while simplifying our processes. V Models will be available on shelves and for media loan December 2025. GLOCK V Series pistols are marked on the slide and frame with a 'V.'"
V Series guns will include the following models:
G17 V
G19 V
G19X V
G45 V
G26 V
G20 V MOS
G23 V
G23 V MOS
G21 V MOS
G44 V
G19C V
G45C V
G17C V
G19X V MOS TB
GLOCK was clear that the new V Series GLOCK pistols are "Externally...remain the same trusted look and performance you already know."
We all know that GLOCK has recently purged a number of models and generations; click here for GLOCK Discontinues Pistols. Culling their product offering seems like a smart business decision to cut the dogs out. But I think there is more happening here. In our opinion, GLOCK had a plan in place for years and the opportunity is right.
You may recall that last week Last week, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a bill outlawing “machinegun-convertible pistols.” GLOCK, unfortunately has been saddled with the illegal addition of illegally produced switches, either imported from China or 3D-printed, that allow GLOCK pistols to fire fully automatically. It can be done with other striker-fire pistols, too. With GLOCK pistols essentially being axed from California, which has the highest population and most potential customers, GLOCK is being denied access to California.
With that said, rumor has it that V Series pistols cannot to be altered with a switch. Changes to the V Series include internal slide and trigger improvements. Note the GLOCK Performance Triggers will not function in V Series pistols.

Military & Law Enforcement markets may be full for some period of time, but what about the civilians?
Yes there are other options than GLOCK outside, some also in good quality and reliability. And yes I guess there had been to much variants of GLOCKs. But I hope there will be a custom department in the future, offering small batches of Gen. 3; 4 and 5 Pistols. Maybe small batches of G17L and G24 in Gen. 3 (with Grips in black, grey, OD Green and FDE); G40 and G41 Gen. 4 and even the G17L MOS Gen. 5. Maybe also some factory engraved “longslides.” – And, even with new laws for some markets, criminals do not care about laws. That is the reason they called outlaws!
Sounds like a back door way of telling us what we can own !
This is a stupid way to approach this problem. Just legalize suppressors, and let the state make the money.
The Governor obviously knows nothing about firearms. He should not be allowed to intentionally force a company to re-tool an entire line of pistols because some unskilled firearms geek told him that this would stop the problem which he sees as a problem. Anyone with a bit of skill can get around this attempt to bankrupt the most popular, functional pistol ever made, this is an obvious attempt to close down the company that makes the best self-defense Pistol in modern history, used by FBI, Military,Police,Seals, and private citizens. Guns don’t kill people; sick mentally disturbed people kill people. How about the millions of Glock Gen 2-4, those are OK?
So if Understand this,is this considered the Gen6 models? Or they coming later?
Thanks.
