GLOCK Serial Number Look Up
The Martix allows GLOCK owners to look up the serial number letter prefix for first run GLOCKs in the U.S. The Matrix is the the official list of all first run GLOCKs that were shipped or built in the U.S. First run GLOCKs are the most valuable, since they were the first pistol of the GLOCK model. The Matrix is part of the GCA Master Journal and s updated as new GLOCK pistols are introduced. The GCA Master Journal is included in all new memberships and membership renewals.

GLOCK Serial Numbers And Letter Prefixes
GLOCK serial numbers include a letter prefix followed by three digits. For Gen1 and early Gen2 models there is a two-letter prefix; for late Gen2, Gen3, and early Gen4 models there is a three-letter prefix. For Gen4 Variant 1, late Gen4, and Gen5 models there is a four-letter prefix. Pistols imported into the United States also have a “US” suffix.
GLOCK Manufacturing Runs
In general, GLOCK produces pistols in runs of one thousand, so a G17 Gen1 will have a serial number that looks like this: AF000US, AF001US, AF002US thru to AF999US. GLOCK has also produced small quantity runs of prototype or salesman samples. These pistols are not runs of 1,000 guns. In the case of an over run on a contract, GLOCK will use the remaining frames in shorter runs.

Hello. I have a Glock 17 9mm. Im trying to find out the birth date because some sites that I look on says it was made in January of 1989 ETD. It has MPDC on the slide. Since it says That the estimated time of departure was January 1989, is it possible that it could be 1988 around December or is it January. Please help. Also, with the MPDC on the slide, is it worth more as a collectable?
I purchase used Glock 32 and I just want to confirm that it is a Gen 4 and law enforcement model. The serial number is GTC332. Thank you for your help.

CLN WHICH YEAR MADE AND IS IT RARE
Looking for the generation for a Glock 17, serial number SLL517. Only other markings are by the Glock logo on the slide, that is AT. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Terry.
