GLOCK Gen6 Pistols Now With AIMPOINT COA Optic

In December the big news GLOCK announced was the launch of the new Generation 6 GLOCK 17, 19 and 45 pistols. A question the GCA had was: Are the new Gen6 pistols going to get the COA Aimpoint red dot? If you’re not familiar, the COA, is a collaboration between GLOCK and AIMPOINT in early 2025. Good luck trying to find a new Gen5 with the COA AIMPOINT optic. They sold out fast.

The COA guns use a mounting footprint called the A-CUT, which allows the COA optic to be mounted deeper and more firmly into the slide.

When the Glock Gen 6 was introduced there was no mention of the COA or the A-CUT. Not until earlier this March when GLOCK announced new Gen6 pistols were being offered with the COA A-CUT.

GLOCK also announced in early March two new G43X models; both new G43X guns have a full FDE finish and one comes with the A-CUT and an AIMPOINT COA optic factory mounted.
